Watch: GRP personnel save lives of 2 women at Dadar station

Mumbai: Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel stationed at the Dadar railway station in Mumbai rescued two women from coming under a moving train.

CCTV footage of the incident

CCTV footage of the event that unfolded showed three women falling out of a moving train one after the other. The GRP ran to their rescue dragging them out of harm’s ways.

The ladies escaped unharmed.

Railway police have on many occasions come to the rescue of unaware passengers who risk their lives trying to board trains.

In a related incident that took place in October, a video showing a 17-year-old girl having a narrow escape while standing on the footboard of a train went viral.

The 30-second video showed the girl, resident of Diva near Mumbai, leaning out and waving to trains coming from the opposite direction while standing on the footboard of a Kalyan-bound train.

Suddenly, she is seen slipping and falling before being pulled back into the compartment by other commuters in the nick of time.
