MNS declares Rs 4 off on petrol on Raj Thackeray's birthday

Mumbai: MNS chief Raj Thackeray turned 50 on Thursday. On the occasion, the party declared 4 rupees discount on petrol in selected petrol pumps across the state. A petrol pump near Dadar's Shivsena Bhavan was on this list and was seen flooded with vehicles on Monday morning.

Currently, the petrol price in the city is 84.26 rupees per liter. But today, on the occasion of Thackeray's birthday, it was being sold for 80 rupees in a petrol pump near Dadar's Shivsena Bhavan. Many MNS workers were seen distributing discount coupons throughout the day over there. Two wheeler vehicles were the only one's eligible for the offer and the differential amount of it will be paid by MNS at the end of the day.

A serious hike in the fuel prices is seen all over the country in recent times. Mumbai has been at the top of this list because of which this waiver by MNS gave a day's relief to the city's travellers.
