BJP appeals to Bengali community for poll support

Kolkata : Ahead of upcoming LS polls, BJP State President of West Bengal, Dilip Ghosh met the migrants of Bengali community in Noida on Sunday.While speaking to ETV Bharat, Ghosh said that BJP workers were making sincere efforts to implement the 'Save Bengal' campaign.

The campaign aims to enlist the support of Bengalis across the country and abroad, as it seeks to take on the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) in the run-up to the 2019 general elections.

Campaign Convenor, Anirban Ganguli told ETV Bharat that people living in or outside Bengal needed to know what was the prevailing situation in the democracy. "The opposition has not really brought in the desired change but have plunged the state into further decline and chaos."

Ghosh also urged thousands of migrants living in Noida to support BJP in West Bengal during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
