Meet first woman rickshaw-puller of Haryana

Ambala: Renu Rai Devi, a rickshaw-puller in Ambala supports her husband in raising her family. She is the first e-rickshaw driver of Ambala Cantonment and Resides in Lal Nagar.

Renu Rai's courage has set an example of women empowerment and is an inspiration for other women. Instead of being dependent on her husband and feeling helpless, she believes in earning on her own. On an average she earns three hundred rupees a day.

Female riders appreciate Renu's passion and gets motivated.

However, Renu is waiting when the Khattar government, who talk of women empowerment, will actually work hard and take strict action regarding women empowerment.
