Miss World's dream unfulfilled?

Chandigarh: Miss World Manushi Chillar, a student from an all-girls medical college in Haryana's Sonipat district is likely to be barred from appearing further examination in her college.

Before going for the Miss World competition Manushi completed her first session examinations. But she could not turn up for the second session exams as she was on leave preparing for the Miss World pageant. After bagging the title, she has not joined her college yet.

She will have to get permission from PGI to attend further examinations. Also, it is necessary for her to have 75% attendance in theory and 80% attendance in practical as well as 35% marks in the internal examinations.

Manushi in one of her interviews said she tried her best to not miss too many classes during her preparation. She used to wake up early to work out, and then return to attend classes.
