AAP made false promises and failed people: Sheila Dikshit
New Delhi: Former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday criticized Aam Aadmi party and said that they came to power in Delhi by making false promises to the voters.

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat Sheila Dikshit said her major challenge will be to promote national as well as state policies and strategies of the Congress party to make people understand what are we fighting for.
When questioned on AAP regime in Delhi and her disappearance from politics for nearly a decade she replied, "People elected AAP because they promised free houses and power to the public. However, they badly failed in fulfilling these promises. So let's see what happens in upcoming 2019 general elections."
The Octogenarian new Delhi PCC chief added: "Delhi is a developing city with increasing population. It is ever expanding city. So it needs continuous and constant growth."
Replying to a question on center playing communal cards she said, " India is a secular country where people of different languages and religions live. So we have to follow policies which are suitable for everyone."
