Congress accuses BJP for raids on Yogendra Yadav's kin
New Delhi: A day after raids on hospitals run by Yogendra Yadav's family, Congress has accused BJP-led government for plotting a 'sinister plan' to crush opposition and supported Yogendra Yadav who called it 'intimidation'.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, National Spokesperson of Congress said that under Modi government agencies have become remote-controlled hawks who are only interested in investigating opposition leaders and maintain silence when it comes to BJP leadership.
"In the past four years, nation is witnessing a sinister plan by the Modi government to crush the opposition and voices of criticism by using agencies in unfair manner," said Jaiveer Shergill. Also Read: Kejriwal blames Modi's vendetta politics for raids on Yogendra's kin Congress has called the incident 'unfortunate' and said, BJP should not think that voices of criticism will be silenced by these cheap political vendettic stunts and events that they plan to pressurise such leaders.
Yogendra Yadav wrote on social media that Modi regime is targeting his family, indicating that his recent 9-day padyatra in Rewari to register agitation on MSP has resulted in raids by I-T. Officials have recovered about Rs 22 lakh cash. It is alleged that hospital owners allegedly made cash payments to a firm owned by Nirav Modi for purchasing jewellery.
