Rape accused Asaram is being featured as a great Saint in Class III moral science textbooks at schools in Arrah district in Bihar.

The Moral Science books published by Premier Publication House, show the accused godman along with other saints like Guru Nanak Dev, Kabir, Meerabai, Vivekananda, Mother Teresa, Ram Krishna Paramhans.

While parents are outraged over the matter and have demanded strong actions against this, the school authorities have said that, it is not their fault, rather the publication house should have thought about it.

District Education Officer, Surya Narayan has refused to come on camera and said that if any written application is received then the action will be taken.
