BREAKING: Governor grants 15 days for BJP to prove majority
Bengaluru: The Governor of Karnataka had send the much awaited invitation for BJP to form government in the state on Wednesday night. The letter sent to BS Yeddyurappa granted 15 days for the BJP to prove majority in the house.

BJP spokesperson Murlidhar Rao said that Yedyurappa will swear to become the chief minister on Thursday 9 am.

On the other hand, a delegation of Congress-JDS combine met the governor Wednesday evening and submitted letters of support for forming the government.
Earlier on Wednesday, a BJP legislature party meeting was held in the presence of union ministers JP Nadda, Prakash Javadekar and Dharmendra Pradhan electing Yeddyurappa as the party's leader of the house.
BJP president Amit Shah will leave for Karnataka tonight or tomorrow morning, according to sources, to lead the BJP effort to prove majority in the house.
