1 dead, 2 injured in Melbourne stabbing incident
Melbourne: Police in Melbourne said a person had been killed and two more were being treated in hospital after they were stabbed during an attack in the Australian city on Friday.

The attacker was also in a critical condition in hospital after being shot in the chest by police.

Footage posted on social media showed a car in flames and officers apparently trying to defend themselves from a lone assailant in Bourke Street, central Melbourne.
