Video of school's girls toilet goes viral in UP

Maharajganj: The district police on Thursday arrested members of the school's management after a video of girls toilet went viral on the social media platform. Apparently, the video was recorded from a hidden camera.

Students with their parents rushed to the Everest Public School after receiving the video of the same on their WhatsApp. The video was leaked from a hidden camera installed in the toilet, police said.

After getting the information, police reached the school and arrested the members of school's management for further investigation into the matter.

Surprisingly students said that they were aware about the hidden camera in the toilet after the video of the same went viral on Thursday. The hidden camera was installed in the toilet since several days but the person behind the crime is yet to be known, police said.

However, a student has accused a teacher of social studies for installing camera in the toilet. He further claimed that the camera is linked with WiFi and as soon as WiFi is turned on, the recording starts automatically.

Parents have requested police to probe the matter and take concrete action against the guilty.

"The management has been running the school for the last 20 years. This kind of incident has never happened in the premises earlier. Full cooperation will be provided from the management side," school principal Akhopuro said.
